About

In the age-old tradition of sports comes Pickin’Splinters.com. A site dedicated to the discussion of the games we play and, more importantly, those we watch. Welcome to the Clipboard where sports meets philosophy, psychology, economics, and maybe a little politics. Find a spot on the pine. Set a spell. Soak in the wisdom. And by all means share a few of your own pearls.

  3. From the Big 10 to the ACC, who could doubt that the NCAA has the best basketball action around? Your site does a great job of reporting about all the goings-on in college basketball, so I thought you might benefit from knowing about the March Madness accommodations page (http://www.homeaway.com/index.cfm/tgt/college-basketball-lodging) on HomeAway.com.

Many fans who want to be right in the action for the NCAA tournament may find that all of the hotels are booked in the cities where those rounds are taking place. We’ve broken out the host cities by round and provided a link to available properties in those areas.

I hope you find some value in this information.

    Cheers!

    Aimee
